Nike advert "with style" making off

Major final project

For my final project i decided to create a nike advert for the first condoms ever made by nike.

So i started to work in 3ds max for the package and then after start to shoot for the final advert.

The video was shoot in portugal using 2 different scenarios, a gym and a beauty saloon.

Personal project

Trailer "The face of Truth" was inspired in the film"White noise" directed by Geoffrey Sax.

"The face of Truth" was filmed using 2 different cameras and a mobile phone as well. The first part was filmed in Surrey Quays and the second part in the immersive room at the university of east london using green screen.

Almanac

I wanted to create a logo that could portrait the type of

work my company was able to produce, so i start

to look in to sci-fi and 3d.

Ereqade logo was produced using motion particles and 

photoshop.

For this project I produced a 16mm trailer based on an urban myth created by myself called the tic Man. I meant to create a website for the trailer including the other 5 urban legends as well, but that was impossible due to the time I spend producing this 16mm film. I had to deal with the lights, camera, scenarios, actors and editing all at the same time to produce what I think is worth the time. I hope u understand my reasons for the unfinished work.

Rythm and Ryme

In this project i created an A4 and a video to portrait the relation between the lyrics and the beats.

Assemblage

Movies!! just love them! i used to record and collect all type movies since i was a kid.
In the era of dvds i stop recording and start to buy them, Mafia movies especially, the godfather, scarface, Road to perdition, The untouchables and so many!!
I always loved what they stand up for, family, word, respect and honour!

Re-package "Street Furniture"

We all see and live the World in a different way. The value of things is not in the time they last, but in the intensity that they happen, therefore there are unforgettable moments and incomparable experiences.
Street Furniture is a journey trough my own past experiences and fears.
Street furniture is more than a simple word and has more than 1 interpretation, just depends the way you look at it.

The 16 pages book will be released at the assessment date.

My alphabet was created based in the way the letters are spelled in both English and Portuguese language.

The World's a Stage

For this project we created a logo, a flyer and an animation to advertise the company Piddock & Puttock Estate Agents. After days of research we choose to use the weaver bird as the face of the company to represent creativity and freedom.

Typeface essay

Souvenir


Souvenir was designed by Morris Fuller Benton, who served as director of typeface development for the American Type Founders Company in the early twentieth century. The face was first shown in 1914 as a single-weight design with no italic complement. Souvenir wasn’t promoted again until the famous 1923 ATF specimen book, where its modest two-page showing was overshadowed by the 12 and 15 –page showcases devoted to other designs. Few orders were placed for fonts of Souvenir’s handset type. After Its ineffective 1923 promotion, the design lay dormant for over forty years until phototypography gave it a second chance.

Souvenir is a friendly and sociable typestyle with no sharp edges and no strong contrast in stroke thickness and nearly no right angles perfect to be use in imaging environments.

Fools rush in were angels fear to tread is a quote by Alexander Pope, an English poet of the eighteenth century. The quote refers to the rash or inexperience who attempt things that wiser people are more cautions of.
The reason I came up with this idea for my poster is that the quote can refer to men’s as fools rushing into relationships for so many reasons rather than love without think about the outcomes of it and I feel that it could suit for a men’s magazine.
Fools rush in where angels fear to tread is not an easy quote to deal with it and I found it hard to illustrate, hope u guys like my final piece of art.
